Re Tadcaster Swimming Pool Annual Duck Race
Saturday 27th September 2014. 12 noon – 4pm.
This annual event is a major fundraiser for the Tadcaster Swimming Pool Trust.
It is now entering its 7th year and forms a focal part of life in the community.
Many local community groups participate by having a stall and raising funds for their own cause.
2500 numbered tickets are sold at a cost of £1 for anyone to participate. Each ticket relates to a numbered plastic duck which is then launched from the viaduct into the River Wharfe.
Last year, a total of £3000 was raised allowing the pool to purchase a new pool Inflatable for use at children’s parties and Crazy Fun Splash.
As part of the Tadcaster Pool Annual Duck Race, the Trust would now like to invite local businesses to participate in this community event by sponsoring a larger corporate coloured duck at a cost of £20.
A list of sponsors will be published prior to and at the event
These larger ducks will be launched into the river at the same time as the main event with the profile of all businesses raised through advertising on the event site.
As an incentive for businesses to participate, we will be offering 1 year’s free advertising for your company on our television screen on the refreshment area of the pool.
If you would like to purchase a corporate duck please e mail me email@example.com or tel no 01937 833001
