Tadcaster-CarnivalSo Carnival goers, are we all thinking this weather is going to hang around for our big day?!?!? Would be nice wouldn’t it???
 
Lots of you may have noticed that it was Copmanthorpe Carnival at the weekend and from what I’ve seen and heard it was a fantastic event with some great entertainment put on for all the family.
Over 5000 attended the Carnival which is a staggering amount of people!! Can we beat this????

 

 

 

So I wanted to just let you all know again that our event is FREE for all to attend.
We start with a grand parade through the town with some truly fabulous floats, events then kick off at the Magnets at 1pm where there will be……..
 
FAIR – MORE RIDES THAN LAST YEAR
STALLS – FOOD, SWEETS, GOODS, FACE PAINTING LOTS!!
ARENA DISPLAYS – MAJORETTES, ZUMBA, DOG AGILITY, BIRD OF PRAY
REPTILE PETTING AREA
GO KARTS
LIVE MUSIC FROM – LITTLEMORES, THE FORENZIKS, THE PRIMATES, RADIO MOJO, SONGS FROM THE MOVIES TRIBUTE ACT, ROBBIE WILLIAMS TRIBUTE AND Yorks party band HUGE!!!!!!!!
 
Not enough?? Ok we’ll throw in a MASSIVE musical firework display to end the night.

The Carnival Committee are also VERY proud to announce this years Carnival Ambassadors, a new feature of the carnival, these young people have been chosen by their schools for their positive contribution either to school or the community, they are all round good eggs and will lead the parade!! Give them a VERY loud cheer X
