Police investigate Tadcaster two-in-one burglary

North Yorkshire Police is appealing for witnesses and information after a car was stolen during a two-in-one burglary in Tadcaster.

Thieves took a Black Volkswagen Tiguan after breaking into a house on Leeds Road, and taking the keys to the vehicle sometime between 11.30pm on Monday 29 July and 7am on Tuesday 20 July 2013. 

A Compaq laptop, a brown leather handbag and a camera were also stolen in the incident.

Police are conducting enquiries in the area and are asking the public to help establish the full circumstances surrounding the incident.

In particular, officers are appealing for information about the whereabouts of the stolen vehicle and would like to hear from anyone who saw anything suspicious which could help with their enquiries.
