Tour de Yorkshire 2017The 2017 Tour de Yorkshire will be a huge boost to Tadcaster, where work continues on the main bridge following its collapse in last winter’s floods. Christian Prudhomme, Director of the Tour de France, Nigel Adams MP, and Sir Gary Verity, Chief Executive of Welcome to Yorkshire, recently visited the town to celebrate the race route announcement.
Tadcaster will host the start of day 2 of the 2017 Tour de Yorkshire on Saturday 29 April. Both the women’s and men’s raced will start in the town on their way to Harrogate. The full race route has now been announced.
Tadcaster’s got lots on offer and you can watch some films of our beautiful market town.
